This month’s volume of ‘jams by joedujour’ is focused on history-making women in music. One of my all-time favorite concerts I’ve ever been to was Janet Jackson’s set at Outside Lands in 2018 (which you can see a photo of in my playlist cover art). The way she commanded the stage and told a story through music was so powerful—which should come as no surprise given her decades-long career. The women (from Janet to Britney to Kim to Miley) on this playlist have inspired me to live fearlessly and love wholeheartedly.
