the cozy edit

If you know me, you know that I love turning out a look and going full glam for any and every event, but “recent circumstances” (please don’t make me say the p-word) have required me to revisit my wardrobe. With all this time at home, I’ve focused on wearing what makes me feel the most comfortable and, to be honest, I hadn’t really invested much in at-home staples with the busy lifestyle I was living before.

I’ve come to love weekend mornings spent lounging in color-coordinated pajama sets while watching my favorite TV shows. Once I found a stylish way to stay occupied at home, I found it easier to accept the reality of the situation we’re (still) living in—”Do what you need to do to cope” as they say. My advice for staying stylish indoors is to reach for monochromatic looks in breathable, organic fabrics like cotton or silk. I love accessorizing with dainty jewelry and a manicure too.

Between reading books, playing video games and sipping on herbal tea, I feel like I’ve mastered the art of cozying up and slowing down.
