7 social activism accounts to follow on instagram
What’s amazing about social media is the power that it has to connect us with people around the world, exposing us to new ideas, cultures and causes. As I found myself getting involved in fighting against racial injustice this past summer, I turned to social media as a resource for taking action on the causes I’m most passionate about.
These seven accounts (among others) have helped to inform me, hold me accountable, and make me feel uncomfortable at times. The work shouldn’t stop at following social media accounts of course, but this list will give you a solid launch pad to taking meaningful action.
