Every once in a while I’ll find myself in an angsty mood, whether self-imposed or a result of the stressors of everyday life. When I get in this mood, I let myself sit in the angst and pout a bit before I let the emotion pass through me. I’m not sure if it’s healthy or not, but I do feel better after I allow myself to have these negative emotions and recognize them for what they are before moving on. This month’s playlist is focused on the music that pushes me through my internal temper tantrums, so naturally there’s a lot of rock-inspired pop in this mix. I’m always here for a popstar having an edgy moment, when I was younger I would listen to Lindsay Lohan’s A Little More Personal (RAW) on full blast.
