take action: ukraine relief

As Russia wages war against Ukraine, millions of people are being forced to leave behind their homes, their country and the lives they once knew. The invasion has caused a humanitarian crisis unlike any other we’ve seen in recent history. However devastating and numerous the effects of war are, we have the opportunity as global citizens to provide relief to the people of Ukraine.

donate to direct relief

Direct Relief is working with Ukraine’s Ministry of Health to provide aid in the form of emergency medical packs to those in need. Since the war broke out, Direct Relief has deployed more than 164 tons of medical aid to Ukraine.

support mercy corps

Mercy Corps is currently on the ground in Ukraine providing funding to local organizations that know their communities best—with a focus on the elderly and disabled communities left behind. You can support Mercy Corps by donating, starting a fundraiser, or signing their petition to protect the U.S. International Affairs budget used to provide foreign aid.

contact the white house
